I fly chair style balloons. These are usually called Chariots, or SkyChariots. That is where the name of my web site came from, www.skychariot.com
When I fly my SkyChariot at events, I always get people wanting to know where to get one. Well, there aren't very many of them out there, and it is very expensive to buy them new. Cameron only recently started making the two-person chariot again. Because of this, I decided to make my own, and built a 2-person chariot style bottom end using stainless steel and a lot of welding. This turned out well, but it is heavy, expensive to make, and takes a professional welder to do the work. That isn't good for the home builder. www.skychariot.com/duochariot.html Now, I am working on designing a chariot style bottom end using older Aerostar parts. I have most of the design done, have proven that it will work, and have started work on the first proto-type. This design will be easy to make, will not require any welding, and will have many options. When this is all done, this web site will have the complete plans, parts lists, and step-by-step directions on how to make this chariot style bottom end. At the moment, it is set up to show the parts I am looking to acquire for this project. If you have any of these parts, and are willing to either let me have them or sell them to me, please contact me. ksproul@skychariot.com I will gladly pay for all shipping expenses. You can ship them to: Keith Sproul 698 Magnolia Road North Brunswick, NJ 08902 |

Out-of-Date Aerostar HosesSince these balloons are experimental, they can use good condition out of date hoses. If you have hoses that are no longer useable because they are older than 10 years, but are still in perfectly good condition, I could use them. |
